After a period of prolonged maintenance, the Rock Art Research Institute is please to announce that the South African Rock Art Digital Archive (SARADA) website is back online as of May 2008.

SARA includes the collections of the Analysis of Rock Art of Lesotho (ARAL) project, Iziko Museums of Cape Town, Natal Museum, National Museum (Bloemfontein), University of Cape Town (UCT), the University of South Africa ( UNISA), the Rock Art Research Institute (RARI), Janette Deacon's (private collection), Cornelia Kleinitz's (private collections) and the University Of Cologne's collection.

The project is funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
