TARA is opening a temporary
exhibition, Windows on Africa's Past, Friday 12
February, 2010 at 5:30 at the Uganda Museum in Kampala.
The exhibition and opening are being sponsored by
the French Embassy in Uganda with support from the
Uganda Museum and TARA.
The exhibition showcases
the diversity rock art in Africa and examines several
different themes related to the art. It also aims
to raise awareness about conservation issues facing
Uganda's important rock art heritage.
The exhibition is scheduled
to run in Kampala until March before traveling to
Kumi in April.
