TARA's Rock Art exhibition 'The Dawn of Imagination' gallery at the Nairobi National Museum came to a close on the 10th of April 2010, after being up for two years. The exciting exhibition showcased the distribution of Rock Art in Africa, who the artists were, the meanings behind the art and how the public can participate in conserving this priceless heritage.

The unique exhibition was seen by over 500,000 visitors including school groups. Based on this exhibition was an educational outreach program designed for school groups. The students participated in thrilling interactive activities that enhanced learning about Rock Art and Conservation.

Key activities included; quizzes puzzles, Rock Art essays, and drawing competitions. The best of this work has been published in the upcoming 'I Love Rock Art'children's book. TARA wishes to thank all those who visited the gallery and the National Museums of Kenya for the wonderful experience.
