EPA funds to animate rock art exhibition

TARA's EPA - funded project 'Animating the rock art exhibition at the Nairobi National Museum' got underway on 30 January 2009 with a training session for exhibition attendants. The objectives of this training were to explain the concept of 'The Dawn of Imagination' exhibition, the role of the attendants in implementation of the EPA funded project, and to outline TARA's work and the various programmes that it is involved in. The facilitators for this workshop were drawn from TARA, and participants were given a special tour around the exhibition by TARA Founder and Executive Chairman, David Coulson.

This project is aimed at increasing the interactivity of TARA's 'Dawn of Imagination' exhibition through activities with the visiting public, as well as through schools and other institutions of learning.
