Nigeria Rock Art Exhibition, National Museum, Lagos.

In May 2022, TARA’s David Coulson and Terry Little attended the opening of the Nigerian Rock Art exhibition at the National Museum in Lagos, which represented the culmination of a project which had begun in 2016 in Calabar.

Originally sponsored by the Prince Claus Fund of Amsterdam, the project was later taken over by the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation. The project focused largely on the enigmatic Bakor or Cross River Monoliths in Cross River State.

The exhibition was officially opened by the Director General of Nigeria’s National Museums.
